Good afternoon distinguished stakeholders, leaders of this great association, ladies and gentlemen here present today, I welcome you all.

I am Comr. Whetode Henry Whetode p.k.a Sir Tee the 8th President National Association of Badagry west students an association which is saddle with the responsibility of catering for the welfare of the students.

Firstly, I will appreciate almighty God the author and finisher of the universe who have given us the privilege to serve this great student body it is not by our power nor by might but the grace of God, though it was tough but his mercy saw us through.

My profound appreciation goes to the number one citizen of our dear LCDA, our amiable, pragmatic and eloquent chairman in person of Hon. Gbenu Joseph Henugbe who has always being a great support to the student body and the youth community at large. His fatherly role is best to none, I pray that God in His infinite mercy will continue to bless and protect him. 

I appreciate the effort of the HOD of Education Badagry West LCDA in person of Mrs. LAMINA ADEBOLA GANIAT and the supervisor for Education Hon. Princess Remilekun Nutai for your motherly support. I sincerely appreciate the effort of a great youth leader, and the Vice chairman Lagos west senatorial district of National Youth council of Nigeria during my tenure in office in person of Comr. Aladeotan David (Water) who has always being a great support to the association.
My sincere appreciation goes to our ever indefatigable stakeholders (Comr. Aboki, Comr. Lyberty, Comr.  Big Joe, Comr. ESM, Mr. Whenu Segun) to mention but few who have in one way or the other contributed to the growth and development of our great association, God bless you all.

My sincere appreciation goes to my ever working Executive in council, the Rt. Hon. Speaker in person of Rt. Hon. Ajande pascal and the parliamentary council for your commitment towards this splendid achievement, without you nothing could have been done, thank you and God bless you all ahead ahead.

I will like to place on record the support of the following leaders, Comr. Jacob Francis waniyon, Comr. Mego Monday, Hon. Awesu Uthman, Comr. Pedepo, Comr. Yeniyo Abraham to mention but few thank you for all you do.

Some of our achievement during our tenure in office.
1. A successful courtesy visit to all the primary and secondary schools in Badagry west 
2. Presentation of Award of Excellent to all the primary and secondary schools in Badagry west.
3. Academic symposium and carrier talk which captured 250 students.
4. Spelling Bee and award winning price
5. Sponsorship of 2 IT students to Badagry radio
6. Facilitation of Bursary award to the students which was successfully distributed
7. A successful community engagement with all the youth leaders in Badagry west 
8. Presentation of the challenges been faced by the students to Hon. Solomo Bonus member of House of Assembly Lagos state badagry constituency 1 and Hon. Sesi Whingan member of the House of Reps. Federal house of representative Abuja.
9. Presentation of price award to the winner of Read- me competition who happens to be a badagry west student
10. Facilitation of free JAMB and GCE form.

In life, Every beginning has an end and today i am grateful that everything went well no record of sudden death glory be to God, to our dear comrade who lost their life during the struggle I pray may their soul rest in peace.

To the newly elected executive in council, it was said that when you work alone, you can only work fast but when you work together you will surely work far, I imploy you all today to work together in order to take this great association to a point of success and I pray the almighty God will be with you through your tenure in Jesus name.

At this junction, I hereby urge you all to be good ambassador of our association and Badagry West at large and to our dear community and to always ensures the interest, growth and development of the association in your heart. Once again congratulations to you all and I wish you all successful administration ahead.
