NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BADAGRY WEST STUDENTS (NABWES) STRENGTHENS PARTNERSHIP FOR STUDENT WELFARE AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
The President of the National Association of Badagry West Students (NABWES), Comrade Boyon John, had the honor of hosting the former President of NABWES during the rebranding and repositioning era, Amb. Hon. Jacob Waniyon Francis, at the National Secretariat of the association.
Hon. Francis, who currently serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Education, Lagos State Youth Parliament, remains a strong advocate for education and student welfare.
Their discussions centered on exploring impactful collaborations to enhance student welfare and academic excellence within Badagry West LCDA. As a first step towards this partnership, they agreed to organize a one-month marathon tutorial for JAMB candidates—a significant initiative aimed at equipping students with the necessary knowledge and confidence to excel in their exams.
In his remarks, Comrade Boyon John expressed his gratitude to Amb. Hon. Jacob Waniyon Francis for his unwavering commitment to the growth of NABWES and his dedication to uplifting students from his roots. He acknowledged the former president’s experience, mentorship, and continuous support, which have been instrumental in shaping the association’s progress.
