Earlier today, our team paid a courtesy visit to the Head of Department (HOD) of Education at the Badagry West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Secretariat. The visit was both timely and strategic, serving as an avenue to deepen relationships and align on key initiatives that will impact the educational sector in the community.
The meeting was centered around four major themes: familiarity, engagement, collaboration, and the upcoming NABWES programme.
1. Familiarity:
The visit provided an opportunity for formal introduction and interaction between our team and the HOD. It was important to establish mutual recognition and trust, as this forms the bedrock of any successful partnership. The HOD warmly welcomed us and expressed optimism about the possibilities that lie ahead.
2. Engagement:
Discussions during the session were highly engaging, with both sides sharing perspectives on the current state of education in Badagry West. Key points raised touched on the challenges and opportunities within the system, and how strategic programmes can help bridge gaps and create meaningful impact.
3. Collaboration:
A strong emphasis was placed on the importance of collaboration. The HOD reiterated the readiness of the Education Department to work hand-in-hand with stakeholders, groups, and organizations that have the interest of the community at heart. We, on our part, affirmed our commitment to providing support and fostering initiatives that will promote educational development
4. Upcoming NABWES Programme:
